Throughout the year, the Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society offers a variety of events to showcase their efforts, the History Campus, and for fundraising purposes. The core events include:
Ongoing Tours-April through November – Thursday 10-3, Saturday 10-4, Sunday 1-4. Other times by appointment.
Waterford Days-This annual community celebration is held the third weekend of July centered in Gazebo Park and the Ball Diamond and spilling over to the Fort LeBoeuf History Campus. Fun, Music, Crafts, Food and so much more.
Witches Tea–Come join us for a bit of witchy entertainment! Tea, hors d’oeuvres and sweets will be served with a side of mystique and mysticism! Come in witchy attire and be prepared to see and participate in some esoteric rites and spiritual divination fun.
Colonial Christmas-Begins with the lighting of the Community Tree in Gazebo Park followed by caroling. The entire town gets involved with special events at various churches plus the core activities at the Fort LeBoeuf History Campus.
Flintknappers-A hands on activity featuring local flintknappers who want to preserve this age-old craft. Meetings are the first and third Tuesdays of the month at the Fort LeBoeuf Museum starting at 6:pm. Contact Jim Edwards at 814-449-0607 for more details.
Monthly Membership Meetings-The general meeting of the Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society is the third Thursday of the month at the Fort LeBoeuf Museum starting at 7:00pm. If you are interested in joining the society, or are just curious and want to check it out, please feel free to come to a meeting. There are no meetings in July or December.
