Throughout the year, the Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society offers a variety of events to showcase their efforts, the historical campus, and for fundraising purposes. Check the calendar for special events. Following is a list of our ongoing events.
Flintknappers-A hands-on activity for local flintknappers and enthusiasts who want to preserve this age-old craft. Meetings are held at 6 PM, on the first and third Tuesdays at the Fort LeBoeuf Museum. Contact Jim Edwards at 814-449-0607 for more details.
Waterford Heritage Days-This annual community celebration is held the third full weekend of July centered in Gazebo Park and the Ball Diamond and spilling over to the Fort LeBoeuf Historical Campus at the South end of town. Crafts, Music, Food and so much more.
Witches Tea-Come join us for a bit of witchy entertainment! Tea, hors-d’oeuvres, and sweets will be served with a side of mystique and mysticism! Come in witchy attire and be prepared to see and participate in some esoteric rites and spiritual divination fun.
Storybook Christmas Holiday House Tour-November 15-17, 2024
Every other year, the Society hosts a Holiday House Tour featuring fabulous houses around town and beyond. This year will feature 7 fabulous house.
Colonial Christmas-Begins with the lighting of the Community Tree in Gazebo Park followed by caroling. The entire town gets involved with special events at various churches plus the core activities at the Fort LeBoeuf Historical Campus.
Campus Tours-Visit the Judson House, Museum, Eagle Hotel, FLB Center, Washington Park and our 18th Century Garden for guided and self-guided tours. Be sure to check out our gift shops in the museum, the Judson House and the FLB Center.
